I usually don't buy new clothes and I hate shopping, but for a wedding I had no other option then to get out there and find a proper suit. I just asked the store woman to help me out and she dressed me up within minutes in a beautiful yellow, linnen suit, in a style that I felt completely comfortable in. It's expensive, but you feel that materials are proper quality and its production was fair. I came back later with my boyfriend to find a matching outfit for him. Same story: quick and careful help from (another) store manager and good quality products. Let's all buy a little less clothing, but if we do, let's buy something fair :).
Great store with home goods and clothes both for men and women. All seem very good quality. People working here are always kind. Definitely worth to go!
I love the store! I recently bought a beautiful vase and many small interior things for a new apartment. But a weird situation happened to me just this Monday( 21.11). I was looking for a winter coat, and I spotted Maium jackets there. And I came with my husband to try it on. But unfortunately, there was no size of jacket I wanted. One of the guys working there was very friendly and helped a lot. But after I couldn't find the jacket we were looking through winter clothes and noticed that we were watched by a lady working there or a manager, I don't know. She was following us around, and I guess she thought we were shoplifters. Apparently, you need to dress up to attend the store. But it is ok. I mean, that is their job. But on the way out of the store guy who helped us asked if we eventually found what we looked for. I answered, "no, I didn't find the size" this woman interrupted me and said, "yeah yeah, it is always like that, you can never find the proper size, or it is too big or too small, or other reasons" and that moment it felt kinda weird, it was not a friendly remark, the tone and her approach was not nice at all. And immediately when we stepped out of the store, my husband said that he felt very weird and asked why they behaved like we stole something from them. So it was not my imagination.
I live nearby and often come to see what's new they have and to buy something. But I am not sure if I am going to do it ever soon
The most beautiful and fulfilling store in Oost with beautiful brands and where I always buy the most thoughtful presents. I love this place!
Fantastic fair trade store in Amsterdam with a range of sustainable home wares, fashion, books and lots of other things.
The store is quite big and staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. Their prices are also fair and selection is great. If you are looking for things made sustainably then look no further. They have really nice clothes and knick knacks you can get for your home or as presents.
Happily shop here anytime.
I like the idea of making clothes organic and less environmental cost. Design is quite unique and fashionable. But personally I was shocked when the salesperson asked me to take my bag off and put it away while I am in the dressing room. I never been asked for that before. They made me feel like a shoplifter...I won’t visit them again.
This store is a GEM! Not only for the carefully selected brands and items but for the staff too. So smiley and caring, with such an eye for what might fit you and gently suggesting you. For someone who’s not a fan of shopping, they made me love it! I will definitely go again and so should you! :)
I love the design and idea of the products here. The main drawback is that they don't refund your money if you are not satisfied with the product. You are get stuck with a voucher that you should spend there in an unknown future.
